We are a church that believes that spiritual growth groups are important. They are important because they provide community, fellowship, and strengthen your relationship with Jesus. We encourage all those at FUMC Pearland to be a part of at least one Growth Group.
We have many Growth Group and Bible Study opportunities for you here at FUMC Pearland. The purpose of these groups is to allow those in our church and our community to come together for spiritual, social, emotional or even physical encouragement and accountability. There will be something that we encourage all members to be a part of, and also invite friends and neighbors that perhaps do not have a faith community. Contact the class leader for more information.
If you need additional information or help registering, please contact Lindsey Hoffman, Spiritual Formation Coordinator.

Feb. 15-Apr. 26 The Wesleyan Way by Scott Jones $15
Newly appointed Bishop Scott Jones of the Texas Annual Conference invites participants into a deeper, more thoughtful, more active commitment to Christ. This 8-session study helps participants focus on how, through discipleship with Jesus Christ, we become part of God’s work in transforming the world. Each week a different presenter shares their personal faith experience. Presenters include Adam Hamilton, Olu Brown, Felicia Hopkins, Jessica Moffat Seay, Jorge Acevedo, Rob Fuquay and author Scott Jones. Participants then read on their own from the student book and the Bible and then once a week the group comes together to explore what they’ve read and to view another video.

I AM JESUS
WHO DO YOU SAY I AM?—That’s the question that Jesus asked his followers. And it’s the most essential question in the Christian faith. Our Lenten sermon series,"I AM JESUS" will help us with the answer. Throughout the Gospel of John, Jesus makes six "I Am" statements using ordinary, yet significant images (bread, light, shepherd, vine, and more) to give us an insight of who he is, who God is, and who we are in relation to Christ.
