Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of worship at FUMC Pearland. There are numerous ways you can be a part of this ministry. Read below to find the right place for you!

Sanctuary Choir—The choir sings on Sunday mornings at the 8:30 and 10:45 Traditional worship services. They also sing at special seasonal cantatas and events throughout the year. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays at 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Choir Room, located in the Bethel Building. Praise Ringers—The Praise Ringers, rehearse on Tuesdays from 6:15 - 7:30 pm and play bi-monthly in worship services. Contact Dr. Hyeok Lee, the Director of Traditional Music and Worship Arts, for more information.

Celebration Singers—Contemporary praise music is integral to our worship experience, and The Celebration Singers lead worship at 10:45 am in order to praise God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength! For more information, contact Reggie Clemons.

Celebration Praise Band—The Celebration Praise Band is a group of musicians that accompany the Celebration Singers in the Contemporary Worship Service on Sunday mornings. For more information, contact Reggie Clemons.

Youth Praise Band—The Youth Praise Band leads the music at youth worship services on Sunday mornings.

Joyful Noise (3rd - 6th graders)—The Children’s Bell Choir, Joyful Noise, rehearses from 3:00 to 4:00 pm on Sundays during the school year and plays quarterly during morning worship services. For more information, contact DruEllen Duncan.

Allegro Youth Handbell Choir (7th - 12th grade)—The youth handbell choir meets Sunday afternoons from 3:30 - 5:00 pm during the school year and performs in various special events and worship services throughout the year. For more information, contact DruEllen Duncan.
