God Can Use You


 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers is speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.  I Timothy 4:12

One of the greatest thoughts we can have as Christians is that the God of the universe, the God who created everything and watches over it, can use us to make a difference.  It is extremely simple to use our age as an excuse for not getting up and doing something for God.  However, God leaves us no loophole.  It is plain that God wants us to change the world.

 

God also tells us exactly how to bring about this change:  by setting an example.  As Christians, we must make a difference by living what we believe.  Our peers are watching us to see if we are genuine; and when we prove to them that we are, the impact will be incredible.

Lord, thank you for allowing me to be used by you.  Help me serve you by being an example to others.  Amen.

Methodist Youth Fellowship is the perfect opportunity for Youth to worship, study God's word, play games, eat and YES fellowship! M.Y.F. begins every Sunday evening at 5:00 pm and lasts until 7:00 p.m. in the M.F.C. (Methodist Fellowship Center). All Junior High and High School students are invited to attend.
 
Do you Want to learn about God's word and enhance you relationship with Jesus Christ?!? Well, then please join us every Sunday morning for Jr. High or Sr. High Sunday School.  The youth department at First United Methodist Church is very passionate about the teaching of God and His word. We look forward to sharing this with all of you! Livewires (6th Grade), Junior and Senior High Sunday school meets at 9:15 a.m. every Sunday!
