At First United Methodist Church,
Pearland, our vision is to
Connecting People to a Greater Life in
Christ. That vision is worked out
through a simple process
of connecting people to God through
(win), to others
(grow)
and to Christian service
(serve).
WIN
Our worship services are designed to
bring you to a relationship with God (WIN) on an
intimate level. We place a high
priority on passionate worship, an
authentic response to God’s grace, joyful,
and welcoming congregation.
GROW
We also believe that people need to
have a relationship with one
another (GROW) and
that no one should stand alone. We
offer Small Groups and Sunday school
classes designed to
foster friendship with other people
in a safe and caring environment
where spiritual growth is nurtured.
SERVE
We have a strong conviction that
every follower of Christ should
enjoy doing ministry. Relationship with a world in need (SERVE) is vital for your
spiritual growth and a ministry of
excellence within the Body of
Christ. We offer Christ to others
and impact their lives through
Christian service.
All that we do as a church is
intended to assist in moving people
through this process. People who
attend worship services are
encouraged to move forward into a
small group. People in small groups
are challenged to serve on ministry
teams. All of our programs
throughout the week are tools to
help people love God, love others,
and serve the church, community and
the world. We succeed in fulfilling
God’s great commandment as we move
people through the process of
spiritual growth and discipleship.
