Triumph sportsSPORTS CAMP, June 11-14, 12:00- 4:00 pm (after VBS)  $145 is an awesome sports program where the main ingredient is FUN! This program includes sports like Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, and may include other fun games like Capture the Flag, Ultimate Frisbee, Kickball, and Dodgeball. Participants get lots of exercise while enjoying every minute of it. Every camper receives a Triumph Sports T-shirt.

August 6-9

SPORTS CAMP (9:00 am – 12:00 pm  $135) is an awesome sports program where the main ingredient is FUN! DODGEBALL (1:00 – 4:00 pm  $135) One of our fastest growing and most popular camps of the summer! This camp features lots of dodgeball in many different forms. Kids learn throwing, catching, dodging, as well as basic dodgeball strategy. We end the week with a big dodgeball tournament on the last day.

LakeviewCost:  $400 (Contact John McClure for scholarship information) 

Lakeview provides a safe and welcoming environment for campers to enjoy nature and to further themselves through gospel teachings and interaction with others.  On the 1300 acre property kids can enjoy activities like boating, fishing, swimming, water slides, archery, gaga pits, sports and more! FUMC Pearland is the largest group at camp each year with over 100 campers and volunteers.

Creative ArtJune 18-22, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Ages 5-12, Cost $235 per child. Learn about some of the world’s most famous artists including Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Frida Kahlo. Students will be introduced to a variety of media such as paint, collage, and sculpture just to name a few and will create their works of art using the Great Masters as their inspiration. Kids have a great time making new friends, using their creativity, and learning new things

Coder kids

June 25-29, 9:00 am -12:00 pm or 1:00-4:00 pm, Ages (grouped by) Entering Kinder thru 2nd and entering 3rd – 6th, Cost $210 per child

Exploring Basic Coding (Entering K - 2): Prepare now for the future! In this class students will learn the basics of computer programming by working in apps like ScratchJr, playing with games like Robot Turtles, working on Osmo coding, and more! The main purpose of the class is to teach students basic logic and sequencing skills to prepare them to be successful in Scratch.

Make Games in Scratch (Entering 3 - 6): Does your child love playing video games? Give them the chance to make their own! In this class, students will make creative games and animations using Scratch. Scratch is built for beginners and builds the fundamentals for moving into more advanced programming languages. By the end of the week, students will have a small portfolio of games and animations to show off to friends and the skills to build their own. No coding experience required.

*There will be snacks for both classes, but no lunch procedures. Kids should eat after/before classes.

PLay well

Ages 5-7, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm  and Ages 8-12, 1:00 - 4:00 pm, Cost $175 per child. Kids are already naturally gifted creators. Then they get added inspiration from our specially trained instructors. They dive into our massive collections of LEGO® parts. And while they build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. They also learn to collaborate and create without fear of mistakes. The experience is joyful, the impact long-lasting.

Minecraft Engineering with LEGO Materials Ages 5-7 Bring Minecraft to life using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects such as a motorized Creeper, a portal to the Nether, and a moving Minecart! Create your favorite Minecraft objects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor. Whether you are new to Minecraft and the LEGO® building system or a seasoned veteran, you'll be hooked on the endless creative possibilities.

Jedi Engineering with LEGO Materials Ages 5-7 The Force Awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedi! Explore engineering principles by designing and building projects using LEGO® materials such as X-Wings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire! 

Minecraft Master Engineering with LEGO Materials Ages 7-12 Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO® parts! Build a motorized walking Creeper, a terrifying Ghast, and a motorized Minecart! This project-based camp, designed by Play-Well instructors, combines the basic format of our core engineering-themed programs based on the world of Minecraft. Students will explore real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture while building their favorite Minecraft objects. Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or the LEGO® building system.

Jedi Master Engineering with LEGO Materials Ages 7-12 The Force Awakens in this advanced engineering course for young Jedi! Discover key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, and eccentric motion. Build projects from LEGO® Materials such as X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, Settlements, Fortresses, and other complex machines and structures from a galaxy far, far away.

Mad Science

Water Works! (ages 3-5) $225 Water is more complicated than it looks and through this exciting camp, preschoolers will learn all about the different properties of water.  They will learn about sea life, density and buoyancy!  Children will experiment with dry ice and water, create their very own water art and discover how water can be the most powerful force on earth. We will make our own wave motion modulators, bubble wands and pet tornadoes to take home! Preschoolers will be amazed at how much they can do with WATER!

Crazy Chemworks (School age)$200 Shake up a flask of fun in the lab as a junior chemist! These five half-days of chemistry are packed solid with cool reactions. Campers put on some goggles and change liquid to solid and back again. They get to handle laboratory tools, build and break molecules, and pick up some tricks on chemical changes.

EUREKA! (ages 6-12) While Thomas Edison said invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, this camp is 100% FUN! Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all – their mind. With a little bit of ingenuity children will create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.
