unpluggedchristmasscreenChildren's Musical Rehearsal for "An Unplugged Christmas" (PK 4 - 6th Grade)

All children PK4- 6th grade are invited to participate in this year's Christmas musical, "An Unplugged Christmas". This is a join performance with our Redeemer Campus. In this story, Lyndsey and her friends are excited because the local TV station is having a contest for the biggest, brightest Christmas show ever! They have planned a great show to impress the secret judge with lots of lights and a rockin' carol medley. All goes well, until - BAM! - the lights go out and the quiet of one small shining star reminds them that Jesus is the true light of Christmas.

This 28 minute musical has both singing and speaking parts. There will be an audition for the speaking parts day/time to be determined. Speaking parts don't have to sing and speaking parts will have a separate rehearsal time at FUMC main campus.  Redeemer kids are invited to audition for speaking roles, but they must come to main campus for rehearsals.

The performance will be Sunday, December 10, in the Sanctuary at FUMC Pearland.

Echo the StoryMiddle Schoolers Sunday Night (5th - 6th Grade)

Join us for Echo the Story,  an imaginative way to engage in the bible using storytelling, creative reflection, and dialogue.

After dinner we will have games and then a time to watch the video and engage in the evening's Bible Story. Over the course of the fall semester we will journey from creation to Jesus resurrection.

Pearland Student Ministries (7th - 12th Grade) in the Youth BuildingGroove

Come get your Groove on! The Groove small-group Bible study series invites teens to learn the essentials of their faith, own their story, and engage the world in serving Jesus. Each easy-to-lead study consists of four weekly sessions that relate to life issues teens face along with a Student Journal with questions and devotions.

Adult Bible Study (begins September 17)Starting Point

Everything has a starting point—your life, your relationships, your education, your career. Sometimes we forget that faith has a starting point as well. For some of us, our faith journeys began in childhood as a set of beliefs handed to us by a parent, teacher, or pastor. Maybe you developed a framework of faith based on personal experience. Or maybe you had no faith at all. Too often, a faith formed in childhood isn’t strong enough to withstand the pressures of adult life.

But what if you could find a new starting point for faith?

In this 8 week study we will explore and share what we’re learning with other people in a conversational environment. Come as you are and build relationships with others as you discover your starting point.

Pastor Rahel Yoo will facilitate the conversations for this class.  For more information, please contact Lindsey Hoffman.
