Summer is a busy time at FUMC Pearland, particularly for our Children and Youth programming, not to mention many other ministry events.  Having adequate cooling is vital to ensure that our participants and volunteers are comfortable with all the programs we offer in these two buildings. The chiller unit that cools these two buildings needs to be replaced, and will cost us approximately $300,000.00.  The “Chiller Challenge” is a great opportunity for us to rally behind this purchase giving all of us an opportunity to participate at a level where we can not only make this happen, we can do so without taking on a substantial amount of debt, with everyone participating at a level where they are able to participate.

This challenge will take place for three months, May 15–August 15, with regular updates as to our status.

Children and Youth are also invited to join in the Chiller Challenge by donating any amount!  You can do so through PearlandKIDS Sunday School or Sermon Session, or through PSM Sunday School or other meetings/events, or directly in the offering plate!
