Worship Service
Our NewSong service takes place in our Family Life Center.
We are a community of people who love God, care about families, believe in developing and growing friendships around faith, and have a desire to make a real difference in our community. No matter what you’ve been through or where you come from, you are welcome here.
We worship in a relaxed setting, focused on an authentic experience, centered around real relationships with God and one another. Worship will include modern Christian music, a biblical message and communion every week.
Families & Children
We encourage families to worship together. Children are welcome and invited to stay in worship with you if you wish.
During all of our services, we also have a time especially designed for the children ages K-4th grade called PearlandKIDS Sermon Session! Children are invited into a separate space where they have time for fellowship and an age appropriate lesson during the sermon. Children then return to the worship service for communion with their family or the final worship song.
PearlandKIDS nursery is available for ages birth through preschool for the duration of each service. Here your kids will engage in age appropriate bible lessons and songs.
Music
We have open seating with a live contemporary music band where we sing, worship and give our hearts to the Lord. You can sing along to the lyrics on our screens. It’s a relaxed and informal atmosphere where you can enjoy the music and take in the word of the Lord.
Current Sermon Series
How do we become who God has called us to be? If we were formed in the image of God - what does that look like?
The Gospel of John emphasizes Jesus being “sent” by God to bring salvation and life to the world. His “sentness” was embodied in his service to humanity through service and sacrifice, and his sending of the disciples underscores the central focus of service in his life.
A church that encourages a culture of serving others is vital to strengthening the church community. It is a way to become involved in your church community. There are engagement opportunities for everyone, inside and outside the church, that are clear and meaningful. Serving one another communicates our vision and mission, and drives everything we do. Helping others just feels good, and we discover that doing something good for someone else feeds our souls as we become difference-makers in our church and in the world. In our opportunities to serve, we realize that individually we may be able to do something good, but together we can do so much more. When we live to serve, we create meaningful experiences that not only change us, they change the lives of those who are recipients of our service. We are able to see the unbelievable good we are able to do in our world.
