Worship Service
Our NewSong service takes place in our Family Life Center.
We are a community of people who love God, care about families, believe in developing and growing friendships around faith, and have a desire to make a real difference in our community. No matter what you’ve been through or where you come from, you are welcome here.
We worship in a relaxed setting, focused on an authentic experience, centered around real relationships with God and one another. Worship will include modern Christian music, a biblical message and communion every week.
Families & Children
We encourage families to worship together. Children are welcome and invited to stay in worship with you if you wish.
During all of our services, we also have a time especially designed for the children ages K-4th grade called PearlandKIDS Sermon Session! Children are invited into a separate space where they have time for fellowship and an age appropriate lesson during the sermon. Children then return to the worship service for communion with their family or the final worship song.
PearlandKIDS nursery is available for ages birth through preschool for the duration of each service. Here your kids will engage in age appropriate bible lessons and songs.
Music
We have open seating with a live contemporary music band where we sing, worship and give our hearts to the Lord. You can sing along to the lyrics on our screens. It’s a relaxed and informal atmosphere where you can enjoy the music and take in the word of the Lord.
Current Sermon Series
President Franklin Roosevelt is quoted as saying “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”. He was probably right. Fear of fear probably causes more problems in our lives than fear itself. Maybe fear is not as complicated as we try to make it. A simple and useful definition of fear is: An anxious feeling, caused by our anticipation of some imagined event or experience. When we let go of our notion of fear as the welling up of evil forces within us and begin to see fear and its companion emotions as information, we can think about them consciously. And the more clearly and calmly we can articulate the origins of the fear, the less our fears will frighten us and control us, allowing us to become Fearless. Fearless is a four week sermon series following the Exodus of the Israelites and their journey to freedom in the Promised Land as explored through the lens of the 5 fears by Dr. Karl Albrecht. We will discover how we are able to make the journey to confidence in Christ.
