Ricky Ford was a lifelong member of our church, and when he passed away those who loved him and wanted to honor his legacy established the The Ricky Ford Memorial Foundation. This foundation honors the legacy of a proud and beloved Aggie whose life was rooted in compassion, connection, and the unifying power of community. Through scholarships and community initiatives, they continue Ricky’s tradition of showing up, working hard, and bringing people together. We want to join them as they partner with Katy’s Kids Books in collecting books for this organization, founded to distribute new and gently used books to children and adults in the Greater Houston Area. For over 20 years Katy’s Books has collected thousands of books, giving them to local organizations, and this year we want to be a part of that.

Today through November 22, we invite you to bring your new and gently used books to our lobby and place them in the box provided. Let’s help bring stories and the joy of reading to countless children and adults.
