Per The Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church, we have an annual Charge Conference. This year, our District Superintendent is convening a Charge Conference gathering all the churches in the newly created Southeast District. As an update to the announcement we gave last week, this meeting will take place in multiple locations (TBA) on Saturday, December 9. As part of our Charge Conference Report, we will be submitting names of members who have been removed since the last charge conference, as well as submitting names of members that may possibly be removed (this is a two year process whereby names of professing members not actively engaged are removed from our rolls).
