We invite you to join us in feeding those in need of a hot meal at Galveston Central United Methodist Church each month.

Galveston Central provides a wide range of services for the food-insecure and home-insecure. They have also partnered with UTMB to provide medical and social services on Thursdays.

We prep food in the Family Life Center Kitchen from 9-11 am on the third Wednesday. Sometimes the amount of time varies according to the menu. on the next day, we meet at the church at 7:30 am, load the food and head down to Galveston around 8:00 a.m. We prep, serve, wash, and dry dishes, and clean the kitchen/dining hall. Lunch is served from 10:30 am-12:00 pm.
