To promote Discipleship, we are going to SHAKE IT UP! We are having SHAKER DINNERS!

You may be asking what in the world is a Shaker Dinner? Here is the explanation: the dinners are for the simple purpose of promoting fellowship. Groups come together for a communal dinner. The only agenda for these dinners is to meet new people and strengthen our communal fellowship. We come together with open minds and hearts in Christ to share in each other’s company. This informal dinner takes place at the volunteer host’s home. The host provides the main dish and drinks while others bring side dishes.

We are modifying this for our church and planning to have multiple Shaker Dinners happening in homes and local restaurants all on the same date, Friday, July 12. Individuals and/or Couples will sign-up to host or participate in a dinner on that Friday evening. The registered names will be placed in a receptacle and SHAKEN UP, and then assigned to a dinner group. Hosts will be given a list of names and it will be their responsibility to coordinate the time and place and menu for their Shaker Dinner.
