MCP PURPOSE
The Methodist Children’s Program of First United Methodist Church Pearland was created and is designed to present quality Christian based instruction to young children 12 months old through Second Grade. MCP provides a warm, caring, safe, and nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and cognitive development of young children. We are committed to providing a positive educational experience and to sharing Christ’s love in all that we do.
CHILDREN’S DAY OUT (CDO)
CDO is for children ages 12 months through 3 years old. Developmentally appropriate, themed-based lessons are carefully planned and allow opportunities for self-expression, self-reliance, and individuality. In our classrooms, emphasis is placed on developing each child's self-esteem, cognitive abilities, and creative potential. Daily schedules foster fine and gross motor development, cooperative play, and language skills. The well-equipped classrooms are designed to help young children learn through discovery and play.
