Celebrate

Celebration is a core aspect of spirituality. The things we celebrate reveal a piece of who we are, a piece of what we value and believe in the most. Our spiritual celebration helps us remember God's faithfulness. We connect remembrance and celebration so that we may tell future generations about the work of God. Celebrating allows us to remember God's work and faithfulness in moments when we may be tempted to forget. It allows us to honor those we celebrate. We will take the next three weeks to celebrate the accomplishments of our Graduates, the sacrifice of our Mothers, and the commitment of our Confirmands. And on the fourth Sunday, in observance of Memorial Day,  we will remember those that have gathered from the storm of war into the peace of God’s presence.
